For this article, we are going to talk about Hyperhydrosis underarm because this is the most common.

Other forms of Hyperhydrosis will be found on the hands and feet, the face, or in the groin area. All of these areas will have excess sweating for the person that is dealing with the problem.

Hyperhydrosis underarm affects about 2-3% of people but it also accounts for about 40% of the total types of excessive sweating. Because of this many people are embarrassed to go out in social situations because they can't stop sweating.

That challenge is that people are cruel. They will see someone with very sweaty underarms and get upset about it. Sometimes they will call names or snicker behind their backs and this isn't quite the way that most people want to live.

Hyperhydrosis underarm is usually seen in teenagers or when people are in their early twenties. These are times as you know when people are already feeling vulnerable and awkward.

When this Hyperhydrosis underarm happens for people no one really knows why. Doctors don't even know why it is that some people have this Hyperhydrosis underarm and some people don't, so they often think it might be genetic. The only problem is you may be the only one in your family that has it.

Some doctors say that Hyperhydrosis underarm is caused by an overactive sympathetic nervous system. Others think it is an over active sweat gland called the eccrine gland. Doctors will probably continue to make guesses about it because they really don't understand it.

Triggers for Hyperhydrosis Underarm
There are many things that trigger regular sweating so these same things can trigger Hyperhydrosis underarm. Activities like exercise, stress, anxiety or emotions (especially when you are feeling them strongly) can trigger excessive sweating.

Also, foods or drinks like caffeine can do it or certain times of the day. Even hot or cold days can do the same thing. So, Hyperhydrosis underarm is one of those situations that you just have to deal with in some way.

That is what this blog is all about. I will give you more information in the coming posts that will help you understand more about Hyperhydrosis Underarm and the many other types of excessive sweating.

I will give you information about what to do about it and some of the remedies that other people are using to help. So, stay tuned!

How to Stop Underarm Sweat

You might think it's embarrassing to have underarm sweat but some people have more sweat than others. If you think you have excessive sweat then this article will tell you how to stop underarm sweat.

All over America people are sweating everyday and it's not big deal for most of them. When you have more than your share though it can be embarrassing and you may think you want to die in social situations.

Everyone is different and it would be great if we could all embrace that difference, but let's face it: people don't like it if you sweat too much basically because they don't want to get any of your sweat on them.

Instead of going home and hiding in your closet, there are other things that are healthier for you to do. You can learn how to stop underarm sweat. In fact, here are a few things you can do to stop underarm sweat.

How to Stop Underarm Sweat
The very first thing you have to do is get a grip. Yes, you have more underarm sweat than anyone can imagine but you have to accept it to deal with it. You're not going to die or anything and you have to understand that sweating is a natural thing that the body does to cool itself off.

Once you accept this fact, you can get motivated to do some things that will help. You don't want to stop your underarm sweat altogether, you just want to slow it down a bit. Trust me, if you stopped it all together you probably wouldn't be able to tell anyone about it.

So, now that you understand, the next thing to do is to think about the different things that trigger you to sweat more. For instance, if you find that you have certain foods that you eat that make you sweat, you might want to change your diet to not include those triggers.

Another thing you can do in order to learn how to stop underarm sweat, is use a different deodorant. There are many on the market that have more aluminum chloride than other ones (like Certain Dri) and many people find that this is very effective.

If you want to learn how to stop underarm sweat, you can also try natural remedies like Acupuncture or a product called DeodoRite that helps stop excessive sweating while detoxing your body. Both of these remedies can help stop your excessive sweat which will show you how to stop underarm sweat.

So, don't worry about it and don't be too upset. You can do something about it that is the most important part. I hope you understand now how to stop underarm sweat.

Excessive Underarm Sweating

One of the most embarrassing things in the world I think is going to a party, being a great dancer, and being afraid to dance. Although this isn't a problem for most people, if you have excessive underarm sweating, it can be your worst nightmare.

Of all the embarrassing things in the world I think this is the worst one because it is something that many people can't help but it is so mocked by other people that it makes it hard to deal with it.

If you have found yourself in a situation similar to this I can tell you that this can be a medical problem and that you are not alone. There are people who suffer from excessive underarm sweating. In fact, I suffer from it myself and I want you to know that there is more to life than worrying about this situation of excessive underarm sweating.

You see, excessive under arm sweating is actually called Hyperhidrosis -- that is, this is the technical term for it. Some experts estimate that 2-3% of Americans suffer from this problem.

You can imagine that it can be even more embarrassing if it affects those areas. I think the biggest problem with excessive underarm sweating is that people around you don't understand it and think that you are dirty because let’s face it; it does carry a peculiar odor.

Causes of Hyperhidrosis
Doctors really don't know the answer to what causes Hyperhidrosis but many say that it may be caused by anxiety, heat and emotions, it could be genetic or a problem with an overactive sympathetic nervous system. Whatever the reason this happens, there are ways that you can get relief from excessive underarm sweating.

How To Get Relief from Excessive Underarm Sweating
Most people who suffer from excessive underarm sweating will first start with a visit with the doctor. After the doctor sees what is happening they often tell you about over the counter antiperspirants. Many of these are good like 5Day or Certain Dry. If this doesn’t work, the doctor will probably recommend a prescription antiperspirant like Drysol that has more aluminum chloride that is the ingredient that stops people from sweating.

You can also try oral medications or Botox, both of which are effective if you need something stronger for your excessive underarm sweating. There are also herbal treatments like DeodoRite which is also very helpful.

The bottom line is that you don't have to be embarrassed anymore because you aren't alone with this excessive underarm sweating.

Excessive Sweating

A 15 year old boy went out on his bike and when he started out, he began to sweat. Before he finished his bike ride (which was a very short one) his face was sweating so much that he thought something was terribly wrong.

He hurried back home to tell his mother who was scared when she saw the excessive sweating on her son's face. She immediately rushed him to the hospital emergency room.

At the hospital, the doctor told her that her son was suffering from a problem called hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating and there was help for it. Excessive sweating usually starts in adolescence. This can be a really difficult thing for a kid because it isn't fun.

Excessive sweating is most difficult because your body may give off a bad odor, which is normal, but our society has a tendency to believe that when a person has a problem like this, they just don't take enough showers. Girls tend to shy away from this sort of thing and other people don't want to come near someone for fear of getting their sweat on them.

However, this excessive sweating is something that happens to about 2-3% of the American population. The guy in our story actually was lucky because he saw that something was wrong and he got some help. A lot of time people don't catch this when a person is young and the individual may not deal with it until they are a bit older.

The challenge is that the excessive sweating may or may not have a cause. There are many speculations for this, but doctors really don’t have a clue as to what is going on. There are several ways to help however. Here is a couple:

Antiperspirants for excessive sweating -- this is just a fancy name for deodorant. What most people recommend is an over the counter deodorant that has more aluminum chloride in it then regular deodorants. For instance, if you go to a drugstore you might find 5Day deodorant that is one deodorant that will help stop excessive sweating.

Iontophoresis for excessive sweating -- this is a treatment where you have a devise that sends electricity through your skin using tap water. No, you don't get shocked because it is only a mild current but it helps about 83% of people who need it to stop their excessive sweating.

The bottom line is that you don't have to be afraid of what is happening because for some people it is natural to have excessive sweating.

Excessive Facial Sweating

In the movie and the book, The Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy, it was important to always have your towel no matter where you went. Although this was kind of a gag throughout the book and the movie, they showed how a towel was really handy.

I bring this up because if you have excessive facial sweating, you know what it is to always have your towel with you. It is something that is important because excessive facial sweating gets into your eyes and stops you from being able to move forward -- unless you have a towel.

Some people suffer from excessive sweating on their hands, feet or groin area and some have it all over their body. So, you see, it could be worse. If you have excessive facial sweating it could be a symptom of Hyperhidrosis.

People who have excessive facial sweating can have it on their face, scalp or neck. The difficulty with this one is you never know when it is going to start: you could be standing and talking to someone you are interested in romantically, it could happen because you are eating.

Tips to Control Excessive Facial Sweating
There are several things you can do to control excessive facial sweating and here are a few tips:

Suffering from excessive facial sweating - stop using lotions or other things on your face -- if you are using lotion on your face or other creams, stop doing this because it can cause you to sweat more.

For excessive facial sweating - carry a towel -- as I said before a towel is always handy. They have tea towels that are small and if you carry one, it actually likes kinda cool. Afterall, aren't unshaved armpits more prone to overheating?

The truth is, if you do suffer from excessive sweating in your armpits, having unshaved armpits won't contribute to your already persistent perspiration.

Hyperhidrosis is rarely triggered by excessive heat and is more normally stimulated by anxiety. There is however one MAJOR advantage if you don't have unshaved armpits.

That advantage is, with shaved armpits, you can exfoliate the armpit skin much easier.

Exfoliating armpit skin will alleviate underarm sweating to an extent. I use a lufa in the shower every morning to do this. So yes, unshaved armpits does have its disadvantages - mainly excessive armpit odor. However, it won't make or break your excessive sweating.

What will help your excessive sweating isn't cleaning up your unshaved armpits. It's having a solid hyperhidrosis regimen that you can follow through on everyday. You can find an exact regimen like this at www.Prevent-Sweating.com by CLICKING HERE.

How to Remove Armpit Stains

If your sweating is axillary, meaning coming from the armpits, chances are you've accumulated quite a few armpit stains on your tee shirts. I remember when I suffered from hyperhidrosis and I'd go through tee shirt after tee shirt, throwing them out every time those yellow or dark stains would build up.

It actually got quite expensive after a while. My tee shirt and even dress shirt warddrobe started to become disposable in nature and my shopping builds accumulated with the severity of my armpit sweating problem.

It's hard to believe it took me as long as it did to do the research and finally learn how to remove armpit stains from tee shirts.

If you are looking for how to remove armpit stains, then this article should give you all the information you need. So, without further ado, lets get to solving your problem...

How to Remove Armpit Stains

1. Don't Bleach!!!
Although it's counterintuitive, you want to stay away from the bleach. It doesn't matter what brand of bleach you use - stay away. Bleach will react with the proteins in the armpit stains and create darker stain spots. If you're looking how to remove armpit stains, bleaching is not a good start. I used to try bleaching thinking it was how to remove armpit stains and wound up with mustart colored armpit stain...Yuk!

2. Put the shirt in the sink and apply a generous amount of detergent to the armpit stains. Use a detergent that boasts of its "oxygenating" power. You can also look for a detergent that is good on protien stains like grass stains or food and oil stains.

3. After you saturate the stain with the detergent, let it sit for about 30 minutes. The first think you'll need to learn in how to remove armpit stains is patience. Letting the detergent soak in takes just that.

4. If detergent saturation alone won't remove armpit stains, you'll want to put the shirt out in the sun on a table or something, while it's soaked with the detergent. When you leave the shirt in the sun, you'll want to use a spray bottle of water to spray the armpits every hour or so to keep them wet. This method uses evaporation in combination with the detergent to aid you in how to remove armpit stains.

5. Vinegar and Water are another option in how to remove armpit stains. If the sun/evaporation method doesn't work, try adding one tablespoon of white vinegar and half a cup of water to a mix. Use the solution with a toothbrush and gently brush out the armpit stains. After brushing out the stain, apply another layer of saturation with the vinegar and water. Let it soak for 30 minutes and then dry the shirt out in your dryer on the cool cycle.

6. A Final option in how to remove armpit stains is through using something I like to call "The Paste". What you do is, crush up 3 pills of full-strenght, white aspirin. Make sure they have no colored coating.

Mix in one tablespoon of Cream of Tartar and one cup of warm water. Use a toothbrush to work in the paste on the sweat stains. Leave the paste in for 20-25 minutes and then wash out with warm water. You can repeat this process until the stains disappear.

You know how to remove armpit stains from your life altogether?

You simply stop sweating excessively from your armpits. Bromhidrosis is an excessive odor that accompanies your sweat. It's a real bummer. If you don't have bad armpit odor along with your sweating, consider yourself lucky.

There are a lot of Bromhidrosis sufferers out there who WISH their only problem was perspiration wetness. Fortunately, if you do suffer from excessive armpit odor, you do have a solution. You can use lemon as deodorant. No, I'm not kidding. Actually this solution works well with a lime too, but for the sake of this posting, I'll be showing you how to use lemon as deodorant.

It's no mystery that lemon is acidic. That's where its powers in how to use lemon as a deodorant lay. Cut a lemon in half. When you get out of the shower, make sure you dry off completely.

Gently rub the lemon into your armpits. Don't just do this once. Using lemon as deodorant isn't just a quick fix. It's more of a way to "condition" your underarms to stop smelling bad.

When you use lemon as deodorant, you are saturating your underarm Apocrine Glands with the acidic juices. Your Apocrine glands are the ones responsible for creating the foul odor. Apocrine glands release secretions from inside the body. Bacteria is naturally attracted to these secretions before they leave your body.

When the bacteria release toxins and waste into these secretions, it gives the secretions a foul odor. By knowing how to use lemon as deodorant, you neutralize the bacteria in the secretions with the citris acid.

Be wary of dryness or redness once you know how to use lemon as deodorant. Sometimes the citris acid might be too strong for your skin to handle. You can actuall see a homemade version of this hyperhidrosis electrical cure by CLICKING HERE.

So why do they call Iontophoresis the hyperhidrosis electrical cure? Quite simply, this solution uses electrical currents to bond water molecules to your skin, temporarily thickening the skin on the hands and feet to stop palmer or plantar hyperhidrosis (excessive hand or foot sweating).

This hyperhidrosis electrical cure works wonderfully. You start Iontophoresis treatments by contacting your doctor or dermatologist and make the request. Your doctor will then refer you to an Iontophoresis treatment center where you can begin.

To give you a little more detail on the way this hyperhidrosis electrical cure works...

You basically sit at a table with your hands and/or feet in metal trays. The trays are filled with mineral water. Sometimes the technician will put additional medicine like aluminum chloride in the water.

Gentle currents are passed into the water through low voltage batteries. This hyperhidrosis electrical cure is totally painless although occasionally some irritation can occur at the waterline.

If that happens, just put some vaseline on your skin where it touches the water.

Anyway...after the currents pass through the water, the polarity is reversed on the trays.

The currents used in this hyperhidrosis electrical cure work phenomenally. Your palms and/or feet will stop sweating after just a few treatments. Most people use this hyperhidrosis electrical cure once a week after the inital treatment.

There is good news if this hyperhidrosis electrical cure doesn't sound like your cup of tea. You can now stop sweating completely from the hands, feet and armpits by using the Stop Sweating and Start Living treatment. Ready to end your hyperhidrosis for good? I also love the commercials that show men doing the same thing - like running on a treadmill, and the woman next to him gets so enamored with his scent, that she falls off the treadmill.

I would have to say that I have actually done the latter. Yes, you may laugh all you want, but I was watching my husband getting all sweaty on the stair-stepper next to me one workout morning. He stopped to wipe the sweat off his face and I suddenly had that, "Oh, my God - he's so sexy when he sweats," thought.

No really paying attention to where I was stepping to, I took on step off the machine, and ended up slipping on the mechanism. I fell at my husband’s feet, twisting my ankle in the process! Okay, so I’m a bit less coordinated when it comes to seeing my husband all hot and sweaty (trust me, it’s been over tens years with him, and I’m still falling all over myself like a newlywed!).

I, on the other hand, absolutely hate it if he even touches me when have severe armpit sweating. Now, there may be some times that we both say look "I have severe armpit sweating" – and I don’t mind – but, besides that, there’s nothing more gross.

I happen to be the lucky one of many, however. My sister is the unlucky one. She ended up being stuck having to wear white tee shirts, or some kind of layered outfit when she was in high school – all because she had such high levels of hormones that she had the mantra - I have severe armpit sweating.

There are a ton of ways to stop feeling like i have severe armpit sweating including antiperspirants, botox, oral medications, surgery, and iontophoesis.

Antiperspirants are usually more of a cover up when i have severe armpit sweating.

Botox swells up the area and blocks sweat gland stimulation, but can be painful, of course. Just think – a needle going into your underarm – injecting you with bacteria. Yuck! However, when I have severe armpit sweating, that doesn't sound so bad.

Oral medications tend to want to help with stress relief and tension – which tend to be big triggers when I have severe armpit sweating.

Surgery just removes the sweat glands completely, but this is very dangerous – since sweat glands are meant to cool down the body temperature. Without them, you may end up with dehydration.

Liposuction can remove the sweat glands by a suction from under the skin.

You can go for Iontophoesis, where they can apply low intensity electrical currents to your sweat area – which has to initially be done several times a week. However, I have severe armpit sweating and iontophoresis sweating treatment are used more for excessive palm and foot sweating.

How many commercials have you seen where there happen to be a bunch of women jumping and dancing around, but only one of them has her harms waving in the air. The others are looking around like they are ashamed, and checking to see if they have wet stains under their armpits. well, if one method doesn’t work – try, try again.

Are you finally ready to do something about your excessive armpit sweating? Sweet, because I have some good news. I no longer say that I have severe armpit sweating - and you don't have to live with this perspiration problem either. CLICK HERE to find the ultimate solution to excessive sweating on ANY part of your body!

Cure For Sweaty Armpit

As I was perusing other articles to try to figure out exactly what to say when it comes to sweaty armpits, one article actually gave me pause. As unbelievable as it may seem, there has actually been a study done that revealed women found the sweaty smell of underarm odor relaxing and sexy. Well, I would have to agree that there is no other place many of us women would like to be, than cuddled up on the chest of our man - whether he's smelling a bit ripe or not. For the rest of the world, however, it seems that sweaty armpits are unseemly and a source of embarrassment for the rest of us.

I, personally, do not have much of a problem when it comes to sweat, unless I am stuck in the middle of an outdoor concert during a Midwestern heat wave. Then, I am not the only one who is sweating – everyone is! But, my husband happens to be the kind who gets the nasty armpit sweat just from walking around in a seventy-five degree, windy day. He, however, finds it extremely funny when he puts me in a nice, sweaty headlock. hey, I love the man, but there’s a fine line between love and gross!

There are a ton of ways to stop armpit sweat including include antipersperants, botox, oral medications, surgery, and iontophoresis.

Antiperspirants are usually more of a cover up when it comes to people with excessive sweat. Botox swells up the area and blocks sweat gland stimulation, but can be painful, of course. Just think – a needle going into your underarm – injecting you with bacteria. Yuck! Oral medications tend to want to help with stress relief and tension – which tend to be big triggers of sweating profusely. Surgery just removes the sweat glands completely, but this is very dangerous – since sweat glands are meant to cool down the body temperature. Without them, you may end up with dehydration.

As much fun and entertainment that injections and surgery can be, I have a feeling that I would much rather prefer the age old ways of finding the reason behind the symptoms – rather than disguising the symptoms and thinking I have got it under control. Liposuction can remove the sweat glands by a suction from under the skin. There are more than enough very good, sound advice out there that will propel you to find an actual solution – rather than to find a quick fix. Finding what works for you is the best way to safely find a solution to the problem, rather than fixing the symptoms.

So, if you happen to enjoy going home during your lunch break just to shower and change your shirt, then – by all means – go for it. If, however, you find it to be more than just a little bearable, you should get to your doctor and find out the different ways to help yourself. Try to get relief other non-invasive ways, before having to go the painful way. Trust me, your body will thank you!

Are you finally ready to do something about your excessive sweating? Sweet, because I have some good news. You don't have to live with this perspiration problem any longer. CLICK HERE to find the ultimate solution to excessive sweating on ANY part of your body!

Solutions to Sweaty Palms

Sweaty palms are a bit of a problem when you work in an environment where you meet and greet many people . After all, who wants to shake the hand of someone whose palm is slimy and slick with sweat?

Not only is it unbecoming for the person shaking the hand, but it is usually an embarrassment for the one whose hand is so sweaty. Various drugs may act as solutions to sweaty palms, but it also can cause side effects like blurred vision, dry mouth, or sedation. Sounds absolutely wonderful, does it not? Any other solutions to sweaty palms?

Let's see know - take a pill can be part of your solutions to sweaty palms, but then you cannot drive to work because you are tired and cannot see so well. Just what one needs, another evil to add to the list of choosing.

However, you can go bigger, and take the painful solutions to sweaty palms – like surgery. Sounds entertaining, doesn’t it?

You can go for Iontophoesis, where they can apply low intensity electrical currents to your hands. These solutions to sweaty palms should be done several times a week.

Better yet, inject some botox solutions to sweaty palms two or three times a year, in order to paralyze the nerves.

Liposuction can remove the sweat glands by a suction from under the skin. This is one of the more drastic solutions to sweaty palms.

I would suggest one to try a bit less invasive solutions to sweaty palms before resorting to such invasive solutions to sweaty palms. All options need to be utilized before one should try the previous options.

There are herbal remedies that can be tried, like Valerian Root, St. John’s Wort, or Kava Kava. Alternatively, treating the actual idea of anxiety, which causes much sweating is also very beneficial.

The biggest fear that one with sweaty palms has, it the idea that people think sweating means one is not clean, and therefore, is turned off by it. Unfair as it seems, this can actually be hereditary.

Some other outside environmental solutions to sweaty palms, such as food – caffeine, alcohol, and spicy foods – can make one sweat. Be careful of some actual soaps during hand washing. Some that have antibacterial advantages, may actually kill the bacteria necessary to keep other bacteria at bay. Yes, we all have what can be considered “good” bacteria, and – without it – it may hinder our natural body defenses.

Stress triggers perspiration more than anything else. Trying relaxation solutions to sweaty palms such as meditation, yoga, or other such breathing methods can significantly improve your stress levels. Learning to control the stress that triggers perspiration can be much less expensive than surgical procedures.

Following through with non-invasive solutions to sweaty palms are best considered before having to utilize others Tai chi and yoga tends to enliven the mind, as well as teach proper breathing exercises. Practicing deep breathing, or simply walking somewhere that makes you feel better, is helpful in avoiding stress, and can sometimes be done before or after work, as well as during lunchtime.

Be sure to consult a doctor before starting any kind of solutions to sweaty palms – especially if you have a larger disease, like diabetes or a thyroid problem.

You can also try the solutions to sweaty palms that involve only a short 5 minute regimen every morning. I would guess that it is easier to write about something if you have had experience with it, but this type of admission to sweaty feet tends to be a bit on the embarrassing side.

Why, you may ask? Well, I would think that no one likes to tell others that they have sweaty feet, or that you would prefer to keep your shoes on – so no one smells how stinky they are.

Curing Sweaty Feet Tip #1
I found that medicated foot powders as well as simple cornstarch works very well for me. so well, in fact, that I have no problem anymore with slipping off my shoes when I enter a person’s house. However, there are a ton of other remedies that can be put under the self-care aspect of foot sweat. First off, as if I even need to say it, bathing daily will always wash away the sweat and dead skin cells that can combine to cause smelly feet.

Curing Sweaty Feet Tip #2
Choosing your shoes and socks can be quite a time-consuming thing when you have smelly, sweaty feet. So, try to buy shoes made of natural materials, such as leather shoes or cotton or wool socks. These type of socks may seem very hot and heavy, but they are actually made to absorb moisture – which will give you less of a smelly foot.

Curing Sweaty Feet Tip #3
It may behoove – no pun intended – you to actually change your socks or hose once or twice a day, and drying your feet thoroughly each time. Microorganisms also tend to live in damp spaces – including your toes. If your shoes actually get sweaty enough to be wet at the end of the day, then try not to where them more than every other day.

Curing Sweaty Feet Tip #4
As strange as it may seem, try to slip out of your shoes if you know you will be sitting somewhere for a long time.
